Tips to get the best quality scans:

Ensure that the document is flat and well lit
Use a preset mode when possible
For faint text try maxing out the contrast

If you have a 1st Gen or 3G iPhone, you MUST hold the phone at least 12 inches away to get a sharp image (due to the fixed focus lens).

To enable Emoji:

1. Buy and launch the app, it's called "CharMap" on your iPhone

2. IMPORTANT: In the app, press the "More..." button (on the lower right corner) 5-6 times consecutively, a message box will popup saying "You just unlocked the Emoji page..." and you will be brought to the Emoji page.

3. On the Emoji page, press the "Enable Emoji" button on the top right corner to enable Emoji keyboard.

4. After enabling Emoji, quit the app and

What's emoji Emoji are emoticons such as you can type within Notes, SMS, Mail or any other application on your iPhone.

To get the emoji/emoticon keyboard, do the following:

iEmoji works on iPhone and iPod Touch with iPhone OS 4.x, 3.x and 2.x. iPad compatibility coming soon!

Buy and launch iEmoji on your iPhone (or iPod Touch). Make sure you have wifi/cell connection so that your device is connected to the internet. Also make sure you have iPhone OS 2.2 (or higher).

IMPORTANT: Within the iEmoji app, click on "..." button at the bottom of the screen and then tap on the "Help" button. Once you can see the help information, click on "Done" button on the right top. Exit iEmoji.

Go to "Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards " and turn ON "English" keyboard.

iPhone iOS 4: Go to "Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Add New Keyboard..." and add "Emoji" keyboard. Now the emoji keyboard is available for you.

iPhone iOS 3 & 2: Go to "Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Japanese" and turn ON "Emoji". Now the emoji keyboard is available for you.

Reboot/restart your iPhone. If you do not restart, you cannot use emoji in the email application.

To use the emoji keyboard in SMS, Mail, Notes or any other application, when you are typing on the keyboard, tap on the world/globe key (to the left of the space bar) to bring up the emoji keyboard. Enjoy using the 450+ emojis with iEmoji

Note: Once the emoji keyboard is enabled, you can safely uninstall the iEmoji app.

Nightstand makes a fantastic bedside alarm clock, but it does a lot more, as well. Easily configure it to rotate the pictures in one of your photo albums, set it on your desk, and use it as a picture frame with heads-up time and weather. It's the perfect use for an old iPhone or iPod touch that doesn't see as much use anymore, as well!

Place it on your bedside table and wake up to your own music! You can easily turn down the brightness on the screen by sliding your finger up or down, and even shake your iPhone or iPod touch to show a convenient flashlight. Shake again to go back to the clock screen, turning off the flashlight.

Having trouble falling asleep Set Nightstand's sleep timer, and you can listen to your favorite music, podcasts, audio books, or relaxing sounds. After a set time interval, Nightstand will automatically pause playback, hopefully by which time you will be sleeping soundly.

-Gradually fade in alarm volume if you want for a more gentle effect.
